COME OUT FROM THE CROWD

COME OUT FROM THE CROWD

By Margaret Morenike Doherty-Aka

And Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go to the other side, while he sent the multitude away (Matt. 14:22)

Friends, Jesus sent away the multitude and “constrained” his disciples to get into a ship with him. Let us ask ourselves the following question today: Am I among the “multitude” or am I a disciple of Christ?

You are ambassadors for Christ (2 Cor. 5:20); the salt of the earth. If salt loses its taste how will it flavor? As the light of this world you cannot be hid under a bushel. So let your light shine before men that they may see Jesus in you and glorify your heavenly father. There is a worship song I love that goes: “Lord prepare me to be a sanctuary, pure and holy, tried and true…”

The bible says “come out from among them and be ye separate, says the Lord (2 Cor. 6:17). The bible also says “be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is good, acceptable, and perfect will of God (Rom. 12:2). It is a good thing when others can say about you “thank God for sister or brother {FILL IN THE BLANK}”

Friends, you are a city set on a hill. As you come out of the crowd and separate yourself unto God I pray that the glory of God will be seen on you. God will increase your greatness and comfort you on every side. In the mighty name of Jesus, you will be called a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name. God will lay thy stones in fair colors and make your windows of agates! Your borders will be of pleasant stones! He (God) will decorate and beautify your life will every good thing!

I pray in the mighty name of Jesus that as you separate yourself unto God, your light shall break forth as the morning! Your health shall spring forth speedily! Your righteousness shall go before thee! The glory of the Lord shall be your reward! When you call, God shall answer and say unto you “Here I am…” Your light shall rise in obscurity and your darkness shall be as the noonday! The Lord God shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought and make fat your bones and you shall be as a watered garden and a spring of water, whose waters fail not (Isaiah 58:11). Remain blessed in Jesus’ mighty name.
