CALL GOD BY HIS NAMES

Song: Something about the name Jesus, it is the sweetest name I know!

Friends, the name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous runs into it and is saved. Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. An uncircumcised Philistine called Goliath cursed David by “his gods” and was defeated by David who went against him in the name of the Lord of Hosts!

The people who called upon “Baal” were disgraced but fire fell from heaven when Elijah called on the name of the Lord! Bartemaeus called Jesus by one of his names. He said “Thou son of David, have mercy on me!” and Jesus stood still to attend to him! Friends, there’s just something about the name of Jesus! It is the name that is above every other name. At the mention of that name, every knee must bow!

Proverbs 20:7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses but we will remember the name of the Lord.

Do you need help? Call on Jehovah Ebenezer (Lord my helper). Do you need healing? Call on Jehovah Rapha (Lord my healer). Do you need wisdom? Call on “The Only Wise God”. He can teach you all manner of workmanship and give you an excellent spirit like he did for Daniel. Call on Jehovah Jireh (my provider) to provide you with anything you need. The silver is his and the gold and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I am certain he can sell some of those cattle and send you some of the money! He led some people to a fish that had money in its mouth! Call on “The God of Comfort” to comfort you when you need it. Call on “The Mighty in Battle” to fight for you.

Call upon the Fountain of Living waters and the Dayspring from on high to sprinkle clean water on you and make you clean. Call on “The River of Life” to drown your stubborn pursuers. He makes rivers in the dessert. Come to him all you who are thirsty. Call upon the Burden Bearer all you who labor and are heavy laden and you will find rest for your souls. Call on “The Consuming Fire” to consume every evil plantation and every stranger in your life.
Are you hungry for more of Jesus? Call upon the Bread of Life and the Hidden manna. He is the one that fills all in all. He is the Grain of Wheat. He sent ravens to feed Elisha.

Are you lonely? Call upon the Bridegroom and a Friend who sticks closer than a brother. Are you heartbroken? Call upon the Consolation of Israel. Are you confused? Call upon the wonderful counselor, the everlasting father.
Are you feeling blue? Call upon the Morning Without Clouds and the Bright and Morning Star. He is the Help of My Countenance. He is Beautiful for Situations and the Fairest of Ten Thousands. He is the Diadem of Beauty and the Lily of the Valley.

Call upon the Habitation of Justice and The Righteous Judge to deal with every oppressor and the Prince of Peace to visit the afflicted with the peace that passes all understanding.

Friends, no matter how grim things may seem, call upon The One Who Shall have Dominion. He is our hope. He allows the enemy to play his last joker. But take heart because he is The God of Recompense. He is the Author and the Finisher of our faith. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. He knows the end when you are still at the beginning. He is the Master of the House, the king of Kings. He will dethrone every evil king that has enthroned themselves in your life! He is the king of Glory.

He is the Master of situations and Circumstances. Call upon the Quickening and Life giving spirit to speak into every dead organs, situations, businesses, etc

Call God by ANY of His names that fit your needs. He is the “I AM THAT I AM” …He is EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you need him to be to you! Below is a list containing many names of God. Find one (or two or three) that fit your need and hold on to that name. As you call Gods by his names like Bartemaeus did, I pray in the mighty name of Yeshua that he will stand still and attend to your case! Be blessed in Jesus’ mighty name!
