THE DAWN OF A NEW ERA

Exodus 12:1-2 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! You have entered into a new era of progress! Jump up, shake your legs and shout “HALLELUIAH”!!! Beloved, as you are shaking your legs you are shaking off the dust of poverty!!! The old era of failure has come to an end! The era of prosperity has begun! YOU WILL STAND TALL! YOU WILL BE OUTSTANDING! AMONG YOUR CONTEMPORARIES YOU WILL BE CHOSEN A STANDARD!

Dawn is the first appearance of light in the sky before sunrise. It is the end of the darkest part of the night. Beloved, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Your weeping may have endured a night but YOUR MORNING OF JOY HAS ARRIVED!!! Era is a period of time marked by distincting characteristics of events. Nigeria has moved from era to era. Some of us have been going through an era of failure but I CONGRATULATE YOU BECAUSE THE ERA OF FAILURE IS COMING TO AN END IN YOUR LIFE! Beloved, whenever God is about to usher in a new era he speaks:
Isaiah 43:14-19 Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry is in the ships. I am the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters; Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow. Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

GOD WILL BURY ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN WAGING WAR AGAINST YOU! Let your “AMEN” be explosive! There was a young man from Abeokuta who worked really hard and finally gained an admission into Cambridge University. While others were struggling with one degree this young man pursued a DOUBLE degree! While others were struggling with their grades this young man graduated with DOUBLE honor! Beloved, one would think that as this young man graduated he would enter into a new era but wicked people from his hometown decided that it would not be so! And so for THREE solid years after graduation with DOUBLE honors this young man was unemployed! His colleagues in college with not so great grades graduated and got jobs but not this young man! Then there was a program like this one this young man went with determination. He knew where the shoe pinched him and so he jumped up and down and prayed out loud. As he jumped up and down people made fun of him not realizing that he was not only grabbing his miracle but theirs also. After the program all he had left was his bus fare and then he received a phone call that changed his destiny!!! He got a job offer from a job he had applied to two years ago that turned him down! ALL THE DOORS THAT HAVE BEEN SHUT AGAINST YOU WILL BE OPENED!!! As he arrived for the interview he was addressed as “Sir” because his level had changed in the spiritual. YOUR LEVEL WILL CHANGE BECAUSE YOU ARE ENTERING INTO A NEW ERA!!! At the interview they prepare a table of delicacies before him and told him that two years ago when he applied they wanted him but decided not to because they were afraid people from his country would cause problems for them but that they were desperate to expand their company and needed him. GOD WILL PUT THOSE HOLDING YOUR BREAKTHROUGH IN UNREST!!! THE BOOK OF REMEMBRANCE WILL BE OPEN UNTO YOU!!! They then asked this man to name his salary and he said twenty five million and began to think he was in over his head for asking for such an amount but before he was about to say anything else he got offered more! BEFORE YOU ABORT YOUR DESTINY WITH YOUR OWN MOUTH THE HOLY SPIRIT WILL INTERCEDE FOR YOU!!! To cut a long story short this twenty-eight year old young man who only had his bus fare got this job earning a six figure salary with a FULL benefit package which included a chauffeur driven car, a six bedroom mansion, a cook! He began to travel around the world in the FIRST CLASS section! BEFORE THIS WEEK IS OVER GOD WILL USHER YOU INTO A NEW ERA! WHERE YOUR FATHERS DID NOT REACH, GOD WILL USHER YOU THERE IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME!!!

THREE (3) ERAS ONE CAN BE USHERED INTO:

EMANCIPATION ERA – Freedom. Deliverance. Jubilee. This was the case of the children of God in Exodus 12. After God intervened, Pharaoh called them and told them to “rise up”! EVERYTHING REPRESENTING PHARAOH IN YOUR LIFE, HEAVEN WILL DESTROY THEM TONIGHT!!!

Isaiah 60:1 Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
From today YOU WILL BEGIN TO RISE AND SHINE! If you believe that shout a big “AMEN”!!!

PROSPERITATION ERA: “Prosperitation” is a combination of “Prosperous” and “nation”. If it isn’t in the dictionary, it will be added just because of you!!! Beloved, GOD WILL SO PROSPER YOU THAT YOU’LL BEGIN TO LEND UNTO NATIONS!!! There’s a family that lends to nations. This family owns banks. ENTER INTO YOUR PROSPERITY!

Exodus 12:35-36 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

God gave the Israelites favor in the sight of the Egyptians and the Israelites got whatever they asked for. Beloved, the heart of a king is in God’s hands and He (God) turns it wherever he pleases. WHEREVER YOUR WEALTH IS BEING STORED, GOD WILL PLACE THE RIGHT WORDS IN YOUR MOUTH TO GET THEM OUT!

JUBILATION ERA: Jubilee precedes jubilation. In Exodus 15, there was a new song in the mouths of the Israelites. They that used to sing depressing songs began to sing “Who is like unto thee, O Lord, among the gods, who is like thee Glorious in holiness and fearful in praises doing wonders!” GOD WILL PUT A NEW SONG IN YOUR MOUTH!!! When a new era is about to begin there’s always a turning point. We will look at seven turning points that could happen to people entering a new era.

SEVEN (7) DIFFERENT TURNING POINTS

TURNING POINT IN DESTINY as in the case of Jacob in Genesis 32:24-28 when his brother (Esau) was determined to wipe him out. But Jacob had an encounter after which his name was changed to Israel and God pacified Esau and instead of smiting Jacob hugged him instead! GOD WILL GIVE YOU A TURNING POINT IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!

TURNING POINT IN FAMILY as in the case of Abraham (Genesis 17:15-21) who with his wife must’ve been attending one naming ceremony after the next but had no issue of their own. For many years not much was happening for him until God paid them a visit. Both 6Abraham and Sarah laughed at the prophecy of a child but God overlooked their lack of faith. GOD WILL OVERLOOK YOUR LACK OF FAITH IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!!

TURNING POINT IN FATE as in the case of Lot who was supposed to perish in Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19). God provided him with an escape plan by sending an angel to rescue him.

TURNING POINT IN FORTUNE. There was a rich man who blessed his friend who had been down and out with ten billion! GOD WILL BRING INTO YOUR LIFE ALL THOSE WHO WILL TURN AROUND YOUR FORTUNE IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME!

TURNING POINT IN GOVERNMENT as in the case of Jesus in Isaiah 9:6-7 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. 7Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

TURNING POINT IN MARRIAGE as in the case of Boaz and Ruth in the book of Ruth 4

TURNING POINT IN MINISTRY as in the case of Moses in Exodus 3 whose ministry had been that of sheep and goat until he had the burning bush experience. As you begin to make the right turns there will be a turning point in your ministry!

THERE IS ONE ERA GOD HAS RESERVED FOR YOUR ENEMIES AND THAT IS THE ERA OF HUMILIATION!!!

HUMILIATION ERA: I’m not a fan of prayers for my enemies to “fall down and die” the reason being that I kind of like them to be alive to see me prosper. The bible tells us God has prepared a table before us IN THE PRESENCE OF MY ENEMIES (not in their absence). This is so that they can see you as you dine with fine china. GOD WILL PROSPER YOU RIGHT BEFORE YOUR ENEMIES!!! Beloved, your enemies must be there to clean up after you because they are entering into their humiliation era!!!

A TESTIMONY: There was a particular year I accompanied the General Overseer to the Presidential Villa where we met a man who told us his story. He had come from a poor family. His father had died and was in the care of his uncle who often rained curses on him telling him he would not amount to anything. This man told us he often rejected the curses and one day escaped, joined the military, and worked his way up to the lieutenant level. Being the Christian he was he refused to compromise and do the things others were doing. This led to him having several enemies who sat on his promotion. THE HOLY GHOST FIRE WILL VISIT EVERYONE HINDERING WHAT IS RIGHTFULLY YOURS IN JESUS’ MIGHTY NAME! Then a day came when this man received a phone call informing him that he had been appointed as the ADC to the new president!!! Upon hearing this, he hung up the phone thinking how could he be appointed for a position which he did not apply for? Beloved, APPOINTMENT WITHOUT APPLICATION WILL BE YOUR PORTION!!! This man received two more phone calls and then a text message before he finally believed the news. He was now faced with the problem of how he would get to Abuja in the specified time knowing fully well he had no money for transportation and would be in trouble if he didn’t report to his duty post on time. He and his wife then began to call relatives none of which picked up the phone because they knew it was to ask for a handout. ALL THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN AVOIDING YOU WILL BEGIN TO RUN TO YOU!!! Just in time this man then received another text message telling him to “proceed to the Presidential wing of the Muritala Mohammed Airport” and that a private jet had been chattered to take him to his new duty post! His wife now insisted that she wasn’t going to be left behind and so they packed their bags and bundled up the children and got into their “lemon” of a vehicle which they had to push before it could start. When they arrived on the jet they asked where the other passengers were and were told “This jet was chattered just for you…” A CHATTERED MIRACLE WILL BE YOUR PORTION IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!!! God put this man’s enemy into the humiliation era. Let us pray but before we do that if you are not a bonafide child of God then you are a child of a dog and God does not give His children’s bread to dogs. If you’d like to make sure your salvation is sure by accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior say this prayer “Lord, I believe you died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I want to surrender my life to you. I want you to take over my life. Forgive all my sins. Wash me in that precious blood. Come into my life and make me whole”

PRAYER (with hands lifted up and a loud voice)

Father, do something new in my life! Do something wonderful in my life! Do something glorious in my life! Put an end to sorrow! Put an end to shame and reproach! Put a new song in my mouth! A new song of victory and triumph!
Father, bring every era of captivity in my life to an end! Shatter every shackle keeping me in bondage (financial, marital, business, academic, etc)! Usher me into a new era of prosperity!
