EXHORTATIONS BY DADDY G.O. ADEBOYE!!!

(On 06/23/15 at the Divine Visitation program at the Alumni Center, College Park, Maryland)

Bible Reference: Genesis 18:9-14

Abraham was sitting in front of his tent when God paid him a visit. He wasn’t expecting anything but before he went to bed that night several things had happened in his life.

OFFERING ACCEPTED: When Abraham saw God he ran to meet him and invited him into his tent. God does not usually eat what humans eat but on this particular day God accepted Abraham’s offering. Beloved, it is a thing of tremendous joy for an offering to be accepted and a thing of tremendous sorrow for an offering to be rejected. In Genesis 4:3-5 Cain was so distraught at the fact that God rejected his offering that he became a murderer. MAY GOD ACCEPT YOUR OFFERINGS!

OFFERING INSTANTLY REWARDED: The second thing that happened when God visited Abraham was that his offering was “instantly” rewarded. When God decides to reward you, it is usually miraculous like in Luke 5 when Peter loaned his boat to Jesus for evangelism and was miraculously rewarded with a net-breaking harvest! YOUR REWARD WILL BE INSTANT AND MIRACULOUS!!!

PROPHECIES FULFILLED IN ONE DAY: The third thing that happened when God visited Abraham was that “all” the prophecies God had previously prophesied into his life got fulfilled in one day! ALL GOD’S PROPHECIS IN YOUR LIFE WILL BE FULFILLED TODAY!

DIVINE PROPHECIES BECAME DIVINE DECREE: In Genesis 1:3 when God said “let there be light”, there was light. Beloved to every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven (Eccl. 3:1). The Bible tells us in Psalm 33:8-9 “Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him. For he spake, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast”. CONCERNING ALL YOUR PRAYERS, IT IS DONE!!!

DOUBT WAS OVERRULED: The fifth thing that happened when God visited Abraham was that doubt was overruled. God does not usually repeat Himself but there are FOUR different places in the Bible when He says “the just shall live by faith” (Hab. 2:4, Rom. 1:17, Gal. 3::11, Heb. 10:38). Even though Sarah doubted and laughed upon hearing she would bear a son, God overruled her doubt. YOUR DOUBT WILL BE OVERRULED!

GOD DEMONSTRATED HIS ALMIGHTINESS: The sixth thing that happened when God visited Abraham was that He demonstrated His Almightiness. He asked Sarah “Is there anything too hard for me?” The bible tells us in Luke 1:37 that for with God NOTHING shall be impossible. There was a certain woman whom doctors had said could not have children because her womb was not capable of carrying a baby. To cut a long story short, to the glory of the Almighty, this woman had FOUR babies at once! The womb doctors said couldn’t carry one baby carried FOUR!!! IN YOUR LIFE, THE ALMIGHTY WILL PROVE HIMSELF!!!

LAUGHTER BEGAN IN HIS HOME: The seventh thing that happened when God visited Abraham was that laughter began in his home. THE LAUGHTER THAT WILL START IN YOUR HOME TODAY WILL NEVER END!!! Sarah named her son “Isaac” which means “laughter”. Anytime she called him she was calling “laughter”. In Psalm 16:11, he Bible tells us that in God’s presence there is fulness of joy. THERE IS SOMEONE HERE WHO WILL NEVER WEEP AGAIN!

Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Beloved, when you invite Jesus into your life He usually does not come in as a tenant but as a landlord. If you invite Him into your business or marriage, He usually comes in as a senior partner. If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal savior and would like to do say the following prayer “Lord, I want to surrender my life to you. I want you to take over my life. Come into my life and make me whole”
