Psalm 91:1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Who is a king? A king is the most high in his nation. A king rules by decrees as opposed to debating a matter within the congress. There are examples of many kings in the bible.

In Esther 4:10-11 there was a king (Ahasuerus) that was so powerful that a person could get killed just for going into his presence without his permission! But if, on the other hand, it pleased his majesty to spare a person’s life all he needed to do was to stretch out his scepter! This was how powerful he was.

In Daniel 6:4-15, a group of people who wanted to see the end of Daniel tricked the king into signing a decree that forbade prayers to any other knowing fully well that Daniel prayed to the Almighty. These people knew that once the king signed a decree, it could not be changed. This was how powerful kings were!

Ecclesiastes 5:8 If thou seest the oppression of the poor, and violent perverting of judgment and justice in a province, marvel not at the matter: for he that is higher than the highest regardeth; and there be higher than they.

The bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 5:8 that there is someone who is higher than the highest. There was an account in the bible when God made a king (Nebuchadnezzar) to eat grass for years until he repented and realized that God Almighty rules in the affairs of men (see Daniel 4:33)! The bible calls Him the King of kings (Rev. 19:16). Once He speaks, it is done (Psalm 33:8-9). There was a time that I prayed to God for a house and he told me He would build me a city! Beloved, when God speaks, it might sound ridiculous but it will surely come to pass. His word is forever settled in heaven (Ps. 119:89). In Matthew 8:5-13, the centurion asked Jesus to just speak the word of healing and that his servant would be healed. The bible tells us in Psalm 107:20 that He sent His word and healed them and delivered them from their destructions. In Matthew 5:1-15 Jesus heals and delivers a man possessed with a legion of demons! ALL THE EVIL FORCES THAT HAS BEEN TORMENTING YOUR FAMILY HAS BEEN DISMISSED!!!
In Mark 15:21-28 is the account of the woman whose daughter was vexed with an evil spirit. THAT CHILD AT YOUR HOME IS HEALED!!! Beloved, all the King of Kings needs to raise the dead is simply by speaking a word like he did to Jarius’ daughter in Mark 5:35-42. WHATEVER HAS DIED IS YOUR LIFE BE IT YOUR BUSINESS, MARRRIAGE, ETC WILL COME ALIVE!!! BY TOMORROW, YOUR FRIENDS WILL NOT RECOGNIZE YOU!!!

At the tomb of Lazarus, the King of kings gave a decree and even the tomb obeyed Him! IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW LONG YOUR HOPE HAS BEEN LOST, YOUR MIRACLE WILL HAPPEN!!! THE NEXT REPORT WILL BE GOOD!!! The King of kings can stop a storm because He rules by decrees. He created the wind and the seas so they obey their creator as they did in Mark 4:35-41 when He said “peace be still…” THAT STORM IN YOUR LIFE SHALL BE STILL BEFORE THE SUN RISES!!!

Beloved, God can turn you into a king. In Revelations 1:5-6 the bible makes us to understand that He has made us kings and priests. If he can turn you into a king you can therefore begin to rule by decrees. It is written in Job 22:21-28 that you shall decree a thing and it shall be established unto you. Beloved, this is true only if you stay away from sin!!!

Just as there are two sides to a coin, there are two sides to the King of kings. The first side is LOVE (1 John 4:8). The other side to the King of kings is CONSUMING FIRE (Hebrews 12:29). Beloved, the King of kings is not Santa Claus or Father Christmas. What happens to you by His decree is determined by what side of Him you are on. In 2 Kings 5:1-27, He shows both sides. Naaman was told to go dip himself in the river Jordan seven times for his healing and he was angry because he was expecting the man of God to lay hands on him, shout, shake, etc but the bible tells us that as soon as Naaman did as he was instructed he received TOTAL restoration! He then offered money to the man of God which was refused. But Gehazi, on the other hand, ran after Naaman and collected the money and then lied about it to the man of God! This provoked a curse upon him! Beloved, the same mouth that brought healing to Naaman pronounced a curse on Gehazi which took effect IMMEDIATELY! Beloved, what side of the King of kings are you on? He says in Proverbs 8:36 that “those who hate me love death” Beloved, GOD WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU but it depends on which of His sides you are on. If He is your friend, He’s the best of friends. If He is your enemy, He is the worst enemy.

If you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and personal savior and would like to do say the following prayer “Lord, I want to surrender my life to you. I want you to take over my life. Forgive all my sins. Wash me in that precious blood. Come into my life and make me whole”
