THE POWER OF AN EXALTED HORN

1 Samuel 2:1-2 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God.

V10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

A horn is a protuding part of an animal used as a weapon of attack. In the bible horn means power, glory, strength, royal authority, enabling power, honor, dignity, and dominion. Therefore to have one’s horn exalted denotes prosperity, triumph, and victory. MAY YOU BE VICTORIOUS! THE ENEMY WILL NOT PREVAIL OVER YOU! Say out loud: IN GOD’S FAVOR MY HORN SHALL BE EXALTED!

Psalm 89:17-24 For thou art the glory of their strength: and in thy favour our horn shall be exalted. For the LORD is our defence; and the Holy One of Israel is our king. Then thou spakest in vision to thy holy one, and saidst, I have laid help upon one that is mighty; I have exalted one chosen out of the people. I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him: With whom my hand shall be established: mine arm also shall strengthen him. The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him. And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him. But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.

When your horn is exalted you become a person of power, a person of honor, and a person of greatness. MAY EVERY SHAME GO AWAY! MAY YOUR HORN BE EXALTED! To have one’s horn exalted is to gain victory and salvation.

Psalm 75:10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.

Psalm 92:10 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

God always rewards those that fear Him and exalts them with strength and dignity. When we first read about Hannah in the bible she was a woman who had been belittled in sorrow but God granted her request. MAY GOD GRANT YOUR PETITION! In her song of praise Hannah used “horn” as a metaphor for victory. Before Hannah got victory over her adversary (Peninah) she was in sorrow and bitterness with no children. She was like a destitute though married! MAY GOD GIVE YOU VICTORY OVER YOUR ADVERSARIES!

SIGNS OF A HORN PRESSED DOWN BY THE POWERS OF DARKNESS

Sorrow. Poverty. Sickness. Stagnancy. No breakthrough. No progress in life.

WHEREEVER YOUR HORN IS BEING PRESSED DOWN BY THE POWERS OF DARKNESS, I LIFT THEM UP IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS!

Horn is the spiritual representation of glory. By satanic manipulation it can be used to scatter people’s destinies.

Zechariah 1:18-19 Then lifted I up mine eyes, and saw, and behold four horns. And I said unto the angel that talked with me, What be these? And he answered me, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.

Satanic horns take peace out of people’s lives, marriages, homes, businesses, etc. YOU WILL NEVER GO DOWN AGAIN! Jerusalem had no peace because of the four horns mentioned in Zechariah 1:18. THERE SHALL BE RESTORATION EVERYWHERE THE ENEMY HAS SCATTERED IN YOUR LIFE!

WHAT HANNAH DID BEFORE HER HORN WAS EXALTED

SHE PRAYED FERVENTLY: She decided to go an extra mile in prayer. Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. When certain things happen to you it is because horns are fighting against you.

Isaiah 62:6-7 I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence, And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. GOD WILL TURN YOUR PETITION TO TESTIMONY! Prayer is the greatest force in the universe. Any day you do not pray for at least one hour is a wasted day. Prayer gives you the power to break the horns fighting against you.

Matthew 17:21 Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.

God said the children of Jacob will not seek Him in vain. If you experience signs indicating your horn is being pressed down you must GIVE YOURSELF TO PRAYER. If Hannah had not prayed Samuel would’ve remained in her loins!

SHE PRAYED WITH A VOW: Vows are like catalysts. When prayer is combined with fasting and a vow heaven opens in a new dimension.

SHE PAID HER VOW OR SOWED A SEED: 1 Samuel 1:28 Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there.

1 Samuel 2:20-21 And Eli blessed Elkanah and his wife, and said, The LORD give thee seed of this woman for the loan which is lent to the LORD. And they went unto their own home. And the LORD visited Hannah, so that she conceived, and bare three sons and two daughters. And the child Samuel grew before the LORD.

GOD WILL VISIT YOU! Hannah sowed one boy (Samuel) and God gave her three more sons and two daughters! THERE IS TREMENDOUS POWER IN YOUR SEED! I’m a product of mercy, favor, and seed sowing. Your seed can bring down the horn of the “Peninah” in your life. Seed breaks circles of pain, oppression, barrenness, delay, frustration, marital problems, etc. There are great and mighty things that prayer cannot do alone but are resolved when combined with a seed. Beloved, SEED PARALYZES THE HORN OF YOUR ENEMY. Peninah was paralyzed forever as a result of Hannah’s seed. GOD WILL SILENCE YOUR ENEMY AND PUT LAUGHTER IN YOUR MOUTH!

YOU MUST LIVE A RIGHTEOUS LIFE: Psalm 92:10-12 But my horn shalt thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil. Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

The horn of the righteous shall be exalted above that of his enemies. Beloved, righteousness simply means obedience. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.

Many want to eat their cakes and have it or be like king Saul who kept the best part of the sheep when God commanded him to destroy EVERYTHING. AS YOU COMMINT TO TOTAL OBEDIENCE BLESSINGS WILL PURSUE YOU!

YOU MUST LEARN TO PRAY PRAYERS OF AUTHORITY: Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Matthew 18:18-19 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

Zechariah 1:20-21 And the LORD shewed me four carpenters. Then said I, What come these to do? And he spake, saying, These are the horns which have scattered Judah, so that no man did lift up his head: but these are come to fray them, to cast out the horns of the Gentiles, which lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
The Chief Carpenter is our Lord Jesus. Beloved, you don’t need Jesus to come down and scatter the horns for you because the bible makes us to know that AS JESUS IS SO ARE WE.

1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

As a child of God you can rub shoulders with ANYBODY in the world because Christ lives in you. Beloved, YOUR FUTURE IS IN YOUR SEED!

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOUR HORN IS EXALTED?

THE HORNS OF THE ENEMY ARE CUT OFF: Psalm 75:10 All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted. [NOTE: THE MAIN KEY IS RIGHTEOUSNESS]

BREAKTHROUGH WILL COME: My God will make your horn to be exalted!

YOUR ADVERSARIES SHALL BE BROKEN TO PIECES: Victory will become your portion! 1 Samuel 2:10 The adversaries of the LORD shall be broken to pieces; out of heaven shall he thunder upon them: the LORD shall judge the ends of the earth; and he shall give strength unto his king, and exalt the horn of his anointed.

THERE SHALL BE JOY INSTEAD OF SORROW: 1 Samuel 2:1 And Hannah prayed, and said, My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation.

MAGNIFICATION: God magnifies you. Hannah became the mother of a judge. She became a celebrity. GOD WILL CHANGE YOUR STORY TO GLORY! Hannah gave birth to a very wealthy judge.

1 Samuel 9:22-24 And Samuel took Saul and his servant, and brought them into the parlour, and made them sit in the chiefest place among them that were bidden, which were about thirty persons. And Samuel said unto the cook, Bring the portion which I gave thee, of which I said unto thee, Set it by thee. And the cook took up the shoulder, and that which was upon it, and set it before Saul. And Samuel said, Behold that which is left! Set it before thee, and eat: for unto this time hath it been kept for thee since I said, I have invited the people. So Saul did eat with Samuel that day.

When God exalts your horn, the blessings will even extend to your children and children’s children! Samuel’s living room could fit THIRTY people and a cook! YOUR STORY WILL CHANGE TO GLORY BECAUSE YOUR HORN SHALL BE EXALTED ABOVE YOUR ENEMY! Let us pray…

Song: I will exalt you, Lord, for thou has lifted me above all my enemies and your banner over me is love! Lifted! I am lifted! I am lifted by the Lord!

NOTE: If you are not yet born again God cannot exalt your horn. If you want your name to be written in that precious Book of Life and you desire to cross over from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of God’s dear son (Jesus Christ) say this prayer: Lord Jesus, I confess my sins, I believe you died for my sins and rose again on the third day, come into my life and make me whole!

PRAYER

My Father, my father, I come to you with a heart of thanksgiving. Thank you because you are my king. Thank you because I am not in prison, hospital, mental home. Thank you because I am not bedridden. Thank you for food on my table, clothes to wear. Thank you that I am not homeless.

Every horn of the enemy lifted up against me I CUT THEM OFF!!! [see 1 Sam. 2:1]. Father, judge all my adversaries! Break them to pieces! Let my mouth be enlarged above them! Father thunder against them! My father, exalt my horn over that of my enemies! Let me triumph! Give me victory! Remove every reproach from my life!
