FLEE FROM ALL APPEARANCES OF EVIL

Friends, there is a way that seems right unto men but at the end of it is destruction. We are to flee from all appearances of evil. If it looks like it could be interpreted as sin, we should “flee” from it just as Joseph left his garment and “fled” from the advances of Portiphar’s wife.

Who is a king? A king is the most high in his nation. A king rules by decrees as opposed to debating a matter within the congress. There are examples of many kings in the bible.

May God take care of every “BUT” in your lives in the mighty name of Jesus! Naaman was a mighty man of valor, an honorable captain of hosts BUT he was a leper. The lame man was at the gate called “beautiful” BUT his life was everything but that! The Shunamite woman was a “great” woman and VERY wealthy BUT she had no child at the time she met Elisha! Jacob loved Rachel more than her sister (Leah) BUT she was barren for a very long time!

Covetousness is synonymous with greed. It is a strong desire for wealth or possessions. Jezebel convinced Ahab to have a man murdered because he wanted his vineyard! Many run into a lot of tight corners trying to be like “the Jones”! Stop trying to be like them because chances are that God has deposited something in “you” that the “Jones” would love to have. Guard it jealously. God is a God of times and seasons.
